I haven’t seen Wu-yi specifically, but I have seen oolong both in tea bags and in loose leaf form. the Teabags were at a grocery store. The leaves were at an herbal shop that sold all kinds of loose leaf teas.
both are sold in both forms, find a health food store or specialty store. They have both, the powder forms come in very small sachets b/c they’re so concentrated.
Don’t get me wrong, but my godmother, medical lab technician (and is asian), warned me about these stuff. It’s best to buy the product in a reliable health food store and reliable supermarket and or on it’s official website.
I’m sure you know that Wu-Yi and Oolong tea are the same and to answer your question yes they have them in powder form as well.
But be carefull on just buying them to some shops out there. Some may look real but the truth is far from it. With the digital technology that we’re in right now anyone are capable of making a box and labels that look authentic, not to mention in chinese stores in china town, not all are reliable. There are products out there that came from real herb plants but raised unsanitary, some even contain animal droppings and urine.
Never buy them from an individual /or/ company on Ebay there is no telling if they are legit and where they got it from.
Don’t buy from this company either –> . There has been some numerous complaints about this company online.
Here are sites about the scams: =&q6=&q3=&q2=&q7=&searchtype=0&submit2=Search%21&q5=living+lean+wu-yi+source
